Dr. Bashar Attar of the Cook County Health, will lead the American Liver Foundation’s (ALF) final webinar of the year on December 17, at 6:00PM. The webinar is designed for both professionals and the general public.

During 2015, the ALF sponsored a series of seven educational webinars on prominent liver health and disease topics, which started in September and will end with Dr. Attar’s topic: NAFLD/NASH (fatty liver disease).

Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Attar is a recognized health expert with specialties in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He has sub-specialty Board certifications in Gastroenterology, Geriatric Medicine and Transplant Hepatology. Some of his clinical expertise is in liver disease, pancreatic and biliary disorders, inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome, acid-peptic disorders.
