The Clinical & Anatomic Laboratories of Cook County Health offer a full range of diagnostic services and offer professional consultative services at pathology clinics and patient treatment locations. 

Clinical Laboratories 

In our clinical laboratories, we examine diseases affecting body fluids, including blood and urine. The clinical pathology laboratories provide more than 1,200 different laboratory analyses, including:

Anatomic Laboratories

In the anatomic laboratories, our pathologists examine the microscopic, biochemical and molecular properties and diseases that affect tissues and organs. We assure the most sophisticated diagnostic modalities of technology are available in anatomic conditions.

• Frozen section and fixed tissue light microscopy

• Immunofluorescent staining
