The 450-bed teaching hospital serves as the hub for Cook County Health for delivery of specialty and sub-specialty care. We are home to one of the busiest Level 1 trauma centers in the nation and the hospital’s emergency room treats approximately 120,000 adults and children annually.

Vaccine Hours of Operation

Monday – Saturday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Adults
General Inpatient: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Children must be at least 2 years old.)
Intensive Care Unit: 24/7 (Children must be at least 12 years old.)
Emergency Department and Trauma: 24/7 (Children must be at least 2 years old.)

Pediatrics
All Units: 24/7 for Parents and Guardians
General Inpatient: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Children must be at least 2 years old.)
Neonatal and Pediatric ICUs: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Children must be at least 6 years old.)

OB/GYN
Labor and Delivery: 24/7 for Labor Support Person and 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM for Others (Children must be at least 13 years old.)
Gynecology and Postpartum: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Children must be at least 2 years old.)

*Clergy can visit 24/7.
