Provident Women’s Auxiliary

The Provident Women’s Auxiliary (PWA) of Provident Hospital coordinates all fundraising activities to support the mission of the hospital.
To date, they have raised approximately one million dollars throughout their 50 years of existence.  Formerly known as the Professional Women’s Auxiliary of Provident Medical Center, they continued to meet after the closing of the hospital in 1987. When Provident reopened as Provident Hospital, the group requested that they be allowed to remain as the hospital’s only fundraising entity. The group was later re-charted as the Provident Women’s Auxiliary (PWA) in 1994.
