The Cook County Symposium on Oral Oncology is a half-day course on the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of the oral and oro-pharyngeal cancer patient. The meeting, which will be held on August 4 at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital, is geared towards dental and medical providers, including oral & maxillofacial surgeons, otolaryngologists, plastic surgeons, radiation and medical oncologists, and primary care providers. The highlight of the program is the keynote address by world renowned Dr. Fu-Chan Wei, who developed many of the reconstructive techniques used today in head & neck cancer patients.
