Cook County Health & Hospitals System (CCH), the third largest public health care system nationwide, implemented its second Annual Professional Registered Nurse Clinical . In an effort to raise awareness of others to these exceptional nurses, who work closest to the patient, and positively brand our organizational environment and the patient’s experience, this program emerged. On May 8, 2013, the system recognized 8 outstanding nurses for clinical performance, based on the following 6 behaviors:
