Today we had an unprecedented opportunity to participate in research in our community through our John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital – American Cancer Society partnership on a new research study: Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3). The goal of CPS-3 is to better understand the factors (lifestyle, environmental, genetic) that cause or prevent cancer – and ultimately help eliminate it as a major health threat for future generations. Study participants are followed for at least 20 years. Adults ages 30 to 65 with no cancer history eligible to enroll.

Chicago-area enrollment continues in other locations through August 21.

TO SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT TODAY, GO TO: www.cps3illinois.org or call 1-800-ACS-2345.
