Charles A. Jones joined the Cook County Health team in March 2012 as Director of Strategic Sourcing and Contract Management and has served in his current role of Chief Procurement Officer since September 2017. In this role, Charles oversees the health system’s strategic sourcing and procurement, contracting and contract management, materials management and logistics, value analysis and vendor management.
Prior to joining Cook County Health, Mr. Jones held various positions of Supply Chain Management leadership in the industries of telecommunications (21 years) and private healthcare (7 years).
Mr. Jones is a graduate of Virginia State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration, as well as a Project Management Certificate from DePaul University.
