Building Healthy Communities (BHC) in Suburban Cook County aims to strengthen the capacity of organizations to advance community solutions for racial and health equity and overall well-being. This RFP is integral to supporting on-going COVID-19 response, resiliency, and recovery, and aims to continue to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19, lessen the health, social and economic impacts, and reduce COVID-19 health disparities, especially for communities and populations hardest hit by the pandemic. This initiative, led by the Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH), is supported by funds from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other various Programs.
