To make it easier for you to get medical care, Cook County Health Express Care offers virtual visits to help treat basic medical issues. This means you can talk to a licensed Cook County Health provider from the comfort of your home. It’s fast, easy, and convenient — all you need is a computer, tablet, or smartphone and an internet connection!
This service is available for adults and children of all ages.

Virtual visits are a convenient option for certain appointment types. During the visit, you will be able to see, hear, and speak to a CCH provider and they will be able to see, hear, and speak to you.

Interpreters are available for patients who speak Spanish, Polish, Mandarin, Russian, Arabic, Hindi and other languages.
You must be in the State of Illinois at the time of your visit.
Be sure you are in a comfortable location during your visit. A provider will not be able to conduct a visit if you are driving.
You can invite family members to the visit to participate in your care journey, chat with your provider, and turn on captions and translations, using the buttons at the bottom of your screen.
If there is a long wait, you will receive an approximate wait time and can decide whether to wait.
However, if you need to be seen in person, Cook County Health operates two hospitals and a network of convenient community clinic locations throughout Chicago and suburban Cook County.
