The Clinical & Anatomic Laboratories of Cook County Health offer a full range of diagnostic services and offer professional consultative services at pathology clinics and patient treatment locations. In our clinical laboratories, we examine diseases affecting body fluids, including blood and urine. The clinical pathology laboratories provide more than 1,200 different laboratory analyses, including:

Detailed chemical analyses that help understand the body’s biochemical state.

Critical support for surgeries and treatments requiring blood transfusions.

Screening for pharmacological agents within the body.
