Cook County Health’s emergency departments care for over 120,000 patients each year at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital and Provident Hospital. Stroger Hospital is the busiest Level 1 Trauma Center in Illinois.

Stroger Hospital offers a ‘no wait’ Pediatric Emergency Department where our pediatric emergency medicine specialists provide outstanding patient care in a safe and child-focused environment.
