As the Employment Plan Officer, Kimberly Craft oversees and supports compliance with the policies and procedures governing Cook County Health’s employment actions, including but not limited to hiring, discipline, reclassifications, demotions, layoffs, transfers, overtime, and the assignment of training opportunities. Prior to her hire at Cook County Health in 2019, Ms. Craft worked as an attorney primarily defending medical negligence cases and thereafter gained more than a decade of employment compliance experience through her work with compliance administrators appointed by the federal court. Ms. Craft received her Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
