Dr. Arnold Turner is the Chief Hospital Executive for Provident Hospital. In this role, he provides leadership for hospital operations and has accountability for clinical, operational and financial performance.

Dr. Turner has previously served as Provident Hospital’s Medical Director and has been an attending physician with Cook County Health since 2016. A Board-certified internist, Dr. Turner previously served as the Associate Medical Director for the UIC Physician Group and the Chief Health Officer for Altgeld Health Center. For 27 years, he cared for patients at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, where he also acted as the Associate Chief of Service for the hospital’s Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Turner is a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard Medical School.
