Linh Dang is Cook County Health’s Chief Experience Officer, creating new initiatives to enhance both the patient and employee experience at the health system. Ensuring that patients and staff have positive experiences with Cook County Health is essential to our ability to provide quality care and create a healing, supportive environment for all.
Ms. Dang brings more than 15 years of health care leadership experience to our team.
Most recently, she served as Patient Experience Officer and Senior Director of Arts in Medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals Corporation – the largest public health system in the U.S. In this role, she developed and trained staff on new organizational values and standards of behavior and developed the division of Arts in Medicine. She also facilitated customized training and coaching for clinical and nonclinical staff to standardize and enhance patient experience and service excellence as measured by the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS). Ms. Dang also previously served as the Arts in Medicine manager at Stanford University Medical Center, where she developed and implemented 16 patient experience and staff engagement programs.
Ms. Dang holds a Bachelor of Arts in advertising and studio art from San José State University and Graduate Certificate in Arts in Medicine from the University of Florida.
