Win Buren serves as Cook County Health’s Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to joining CCH, Mr. Buren was the CHRO at Metra, where he was responsible for the public transit system’s people strategy, including talent acquisition and development, performance management, and equal employment opportunity imperatives.

Mr. Buren previously served as the Vice President of Human Resources for the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, and the Regional Vice President of Operations for the Midwest for MV Transportation. Mr. Buren earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
