As Cook County Health’s Chief Information Officer, Angela O’Banion leads the development and implementation of information technology initiatives for the entire health system.

Ms. O’Banion joined Cook County Health in 2018 as the Executive Enterprise Business Applications Officer, managing digital and technology strategies to support enterprise applications including revenue cycle, patient financial services and accounting, and scheduling/registration.

Prior to joining Cook County Health, Ms. O’Banion held leadership roles at AFO Technology Group and Level-1 Global Solutions where her clients included the State of Illinois Departments of Healthcare & Family Services and Public Health/ VA Hospital. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
