Cook County Health hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony recently in celebration the new dental clinic suite at Prieto Health Center at 2424 South Pulaski Road in Chicago.
A wide range of dental services, from cleanings and fillings, root canals, dentures, crowns and even minor oral surgery, will be offered at the beautiful dental suite, located on the lower level of Prieto Health Center.
“Time and time again, we hear how important dental care is to our patients in our hospitals and clinics and our members in CountyCare,” said CEO Dr. Jay Shannon. “They know that regular cleanings and dental care are important to their health. But just as important, they say, is the confidence that comes with a bright smile.”
The clinic’s capacity will be approximately 2,000 visits each year, and provides an add-on to CCH dental services currently existing in Englewood, Ford Heights, Robbins, and Rolling Meadows communities; and at the CORE Center in Chicago for their patients. Last year, CCH provided for more than 4,300 dental visits across the system.
