Jesus “Manny” Estrada serves at the Chief Operating Officer for Cermak Health Services. Mr. Estrada joined Cook County Health after having serviced as the Assistant Vice President of Operations at Corizon Health Inc. where he was responsible for the delivery of contracted medical services for four Maryland Department of Corrections regions. Prior to his time in Maryland, Mr. Estrada served as the corporate director for Corrections Health Services in Jackson, Florida where he provided direct oversight of the provision of all medical care for 4,200 patients housed in three jails in the Miami-Dade region.

Mr. Estrada was previously employed with Cook County Health from 1990 – 2014. During his time at the health system, he worked in Clinical Services, Professional Affairs, Emergency Medicine, our Ambulatory Community Health Network and Cermak Health Services. He had an integral role in the development and construction of the electronic medication administration record, as well as the Residential Treatment Unit. He is committed to improving health care outcomes for the most vulnerable members of our communities.
