Cook County Health in the Community! ¡Cook County Health en la Comunidad!
Cook County Health is proud to care for all Cook County residents, regardless of ability to pay or insurance status. Our Community Relations team prides itself on being community advocates and raising awareness about Cook County Health’s resources to all residents.
Our culturally diverse and multilingual team will make sure your health care questions are answered. We will also provide you with resources to support your health, and the health of your family, friends, neighbors and constituents.
Event Participation
Cook County Health’s Community Relations team participates in local resources events, health fairs, and more, providing information to community members about Cook County Health’s services and CountyCare Medicaid managed care plan. Email [email protected] to inquire about CCH joining your community event.
Advisory Councils
The Cook County Health Community Advisory Councils are made up of patients, community and religious organizations who provide local insight to our hospitals and community health centers. The Councils serve as a way to receive feedback on the health status and needs of the communities we serve, as well as promote our services in the neighborhoods where our facilities are located.
The councils meet quarterly and provide feedback to our staff and help strengthen the presence of our health centers in the community. Cook County Health has eight existing councils – at the Arlington Heights, Blue Island, Cottage Grove, Englewood, North Riverside, Provident Hospital/Sengstacke, Robbins Health Center, and the Dr. Jorge Prieto Health Centers – and will be adding a council for the Austin Health Center and Belmont Cragin Health Center in 2024. We welcome your participation! For more information on participation in our Advisory Councils, email [email protected].
