With the authorization of the COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5-18, Cook County Health sites are welcoming CPS students today as part of Vaccine Awareness Day.
The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine has been approved for all children age 5 and older. If we want children to return to school, sports and social activities as safely as possible, they should be vaccinated. It is our best chance at returning to uninterrupted in-person learning and getting back to normal.
Cook County Health is offering the vaccine free of charge at its health centers. Kids under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to get vaccinated.
Please visit MyShotCookCounty.com or call 833-308-1988 for hours or to find more CCH vaccine locations near you.
